BUYER WORKSHEET
Move a private label blanket from sample to production
Use this plan after defining the product and shortlisting a supplier. It sets out the decisions needed at each handover so that a sample, quote and production order describe the same product.

| Milestone | Record to approve | Condition before moving on |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Product brief | A versioned specification and list of fixed, preferred and open requirements. | Confirm one owner for the brief and one quoted model configuration. |
| 2. Quote and sample route | Quote assumptions, sample cost, stock or custom sample, expected dispatch date. | Agree what the sample must demonstrate and how it will be reviewed. |
| 3. Sample approval | Sample identifier, photographs, review results and accepted changes. | Resolve failures and document any conditions before approving the reference. |
| 4. Artwork and document review | Model-to-report match, labels, instructions, barcode, pack and carton artwork. | Approve the correct versions; unresolved document scope stays open. |
| 5. Production release | Final specification, order quantity, approved sample, materials and inspection plan. | Confirm production timing against the agreed order conditions and material readiness. |
| 6. Pre-shipment review | Inspection result, quantity, packaging, traceability and transport handover records. | Agree handling of open inspection items before shipment arrangements are finalized. |
Separate production time from your launch date
The usual Cozynest production estimate is 15–20 days after order details and materials are confirmed. Sample review, additional testing, inspection, transport and destination receipt need their own allowances; the estimate is not an arrival-date promise.
Confirm the facility and project scope
Cozynest’s company profile lists a 12,000 m² factory base, 142 people and 8 production lines in Hebei, China. Review the factory and agree the exact blanket, pad, wearable or foot-warmer project with your supplier.
Keep one approved model file
Include the catalog reference, formal model, dimensions, textile, electrical configuration, controller, care instructions, labeling and packaging revisions. Name the buyer and supplier contacts who may approve changes.
Record sample approval in writing
Capture the review date, sample identifier, photos, accepted differences and open actions. If a controller, fabric or artwork changes later, identify whether a replacement sample, document review or schedule adjustment is needed.
Release only the versions you approved
Link labels and instructions to the approved model file. Record report identifiers and applicable configurations. The model-to-report guide below identifies current public files and items still needing confirmation.
